Why does the Owl and Parrot gap have two different percentages?

Owl is 850 and Parrot is 780 in the stored baseline. Their absolute gap is 70 points in either direction. From a Parrot total of 780, the move to an Owl total is approximately 8.97% higher. From an Owl total of 850, the move to a Parrot total is approximately 8.24% lower.

Both percentages can be mathematically correct because they divide by different starting totals. In the trade analyzer, your side is always the denominator. Reversing the sides should reverse the sign and can change the percentage magnitude; it should not change the absolute point gap.
