Publisher Guide

This Adopt Me value guide lists pets with comparison value scores and demand ratings collected from the reviewed source inputs in the Trade Index repository.

Use the table to compare pets, filter by demand, sort by value, or select pets for side-by-side comparison. Values are estimates for trade planning, not guaranteed exchange rates.

Check the latest review date and the review record before making large trades, because the dataset reflects the most recent approved review rather than live market movement.

These notes come from approved review records, not from scraper completion or inferred rank movement.

Adopt Me

baseline created

Adopt Me structured review records begin with the current repository dataset as the baseline. No earlier item movement is being backfilled as verified editorial history.

  • This baseline confirms the dataset now has an approval record; it does not prove prior value movement.
  • Earlier snapshots might exist in Git history but have not been converted into verified item-level change records.

How to use this value guide

Start by reading the latest review status below. Then use the search box to find a pet, click a demand badge to filter the list, or press a table header to sort by value, rarity, tier, or demand.

Select up to four pets with the plus button in each row to open a comparison report. The report shows value points, demand, and tier side by side so you can judge the gap between two offers.

  • Search by pet name to locate a specific entry quickly.
  • Click a demand badge to show only pets with that demand level.
  • Sort columns to compare value points, tiers, or rarity groups.
  • Use the comparison tool to evaluate multi-pet trades.

What the values mean

The value score is a normalized comparison number based on the reviewed inputs for each pet. Higher numbers mean the pet sits higher in the current ranking, not that it trades for exactly that many items or bucks.

A value difference of a few points usually does not matter. Large gaps, such as a top-tier Shadow Dragon compared with a mid-tier legendary, signal that an add is likely needed to balance a trade.

  • Value points rank pets relative to the rest of the dataset.
  • Small point gaps may not change real trade outcomes.
  • Tier labels group pets into broad value bands (S+, S, A, B, C, D, F).

What demand means

Demand reflects how often players in the reviewed source inputs appear to want a pet, not how popular it is in general chat. A pet can have a lower value score but very high demand if many traders are currently seeking it.

Demand can move faster than value because it responds to player interest, event timing, and collector trends. Use demand as a signal, not a guarantee that your trade will be accepted.

  • Very High demand means the pet is sought by many active traders.
  • Medium or Low demand does not mean the pet is worthless; it may simply trade less often.
  • Demand and value can point in different directions.

Important item and variant differences

Adopt Me pets can differ in ways that the current table does not always display. A Neon or Mega Neon version of a pet usually trades far above the standard form. Fly and Ride potions also change practical value because they add travel and fly abilities.

Age, limited event availability, and retired egg availability can change collector interest. A pet from a retired egg may trade higher than its raw value score because fewer players can obtain it now. Always confirm the exact pet and its attributes before accepting a trade.

  • Neon and Mega Neon versions typically outrank their standard forms.
  • Fly and Ride potions may affect practical trade value.
  • Retired or limited pets can carry extra collector demand.
  • Age and growth state may matter to some traders even though they are not shown in the table.

How to evaluate a trade

  1. Confirm the exact pet name, rarity, tier, and any Neon, Mega Neon, Fly, or Ride attributes.
  2. Compare the listed value points for each side of the trade.
  3. Check the demand rating to see which side is currently easier to trade.
  4. Consider availability: retired eggs, limited events, or recent releases can shift practical value.
  5. Review the latest approved change record for this game.
  6. Account for personal collection goals; a pet you want may be worth a small overpay to you.
  7. Reject any trade that asks for account credentials, off-platform payment, or out-of-game items.

Common valuation mistakes

Many traders confuse popularity with value. A pet that everyone talks about is not automatically the highest value. Another common mistake is treating value points as a fixed price: they are comparison estimates, not guaranteed exchange rates.

Forgetting to account for variants is also common. A standard Owl and a Mega Neon Owl are not the same trade. Finally, do not assume that an old pet is automatically valuable; rarity and demand still matter.

  • Popularity on social media does not equal value score.
  • Value points are estimates, not exact prices.
  • Variants and potions can change practical value significantly.
  • Age alone does not make a pet valuable without demand.

Trading safety

Most Adopt Me trades happen inside the official trading system. Stay there. If someone asks you to leave the game, send a Robux payment first, or share account information, stop the conversation.

  • Use official in-game trade systems only.
  • Verify the exact item name and attributes before confirming any trade.
  • Never share passwords, cookies, tokens, or account codes with another player.
  • Avoid off-platform payment arrangements that promise rare items.
  • Ignore urgency pressure such as "limited time" or "last chance" messages.
  • Ask a parent or trusted adult for help if a trade feels unusual or too good to be true.

Data limitations

The Adopt Me dataset covers the pets currently stored in the repository. It does not track every possible variant state, real-time offer changes, or private trades between players. Use the table as a starting reference, then confirm the live trade yourself.

  • Trade Index values are comparison estimates, not guaranteed exchange rates.
  • A listed value does not guarantee another player will accept a trade.
  • Values come from the reviewed source inputs and may differ from live in-game offers.
  • New or recently changed items may carry lower confidence until they pass a structured review.

How Trade Index reviews this game

Adopt Me values are built from the Trade Index repository dataset and the public AdoptMeTradingValues.com page. The fetcher parses pet names, rarity text, and value text, then the repository maps those inputs into the value-point and demand labels you see here.

Before publication, a maintainer review record checks that the source inputs are present, that the mapping ran without obvious errors, and that the current dataset matches the approved baseline. Review records are stored in the update log.

  • Source collection and review approval are separate steps.
  • Values are normalized into a single comparison scale.
  • Each approved review is dated and linked to its source records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does an Adopt Me value score represent?

The value score is a comparison estimate that ranks each pet relative to the reviewed dataset. It is not a fixed price or a guaranteed exchange rate. See the methodology page for how the score is built.

Why can an Adopt Me pet have high demand but a lower value score?

Demand shows how sought-after a pet is in the reviewed inputs, while value shows its current rank. A pet can be lower in value but very high in demand if many traders want it right now.

How do Neon, Mega Neon, Fly, and Ride potions change Adopt Me comparisons?

The current table lists standard pets. Neon and Mega Neon versions, as well as Fly and Ride potions, usually trade far above the standard form. Always confirm the exact variant before trading.

Why might another site show a different Adopt Me value?

Different sites use different sources, parsers, and review dates. Trade Index documents its sources and review records so you can see where the numbers come from and decide which reference fits your trade.

How often is the Adopt Me dataset reviewed?

The dataset is reviewed when source inputs or repository data change enough to justify a new review record. The latest approved review date is shown on this page and in the update log. There is no fixed schedule.

Does Trade Index guarantee a fair Adopt Me trade?

No. Trade Index provides comparison estimates and review records. The final trade decision is yours, and you should always verify items inside the official trading system.

How can I request a correction or a new Adopt Me pet?

Use the request box below the table or visit the contact page. The editorial policy explains how corrections are handled.
